  They looked out the window to view the storm on Ginia.

  Instructor Natalie arrived. “Are you guys fighting again?” The whole team responded “no” at the same time.

  Markus ran into the building. Jolin just laughed and went to the store. As Markus was sneaking around, he silently knocked out each soldier he came across. Jolin walked out in the street with her hands up.

  Jolin: We’re from the Unison District!

  Story:

  For many years the inhabitants of Ginia have taken the planet for granted. The planet shuts down and a series of natural disasters bring humans to near extinction. It's up to a group of unlikely characters to revive the planet and prove they are worthy enough to keep alive before the planet self-destructs. Their journey proves to be far more dangerous than they anticipated as danger lurks around every corner. Ask yourself, what you would do if your planet was plotting against you.

  Introduction

  A television was showing a late-night talk show called the” Bob Owen Show”. The “Bob Owen Show” is like a late-night Jay Leno show but discuss topics of more scientific nature.

  As the show came back live, Bob was sitting at his desk. “Thank you for tuning in, I am Bob Owen, and this is the Bob Owen show. For those who are just tuning in, our topic for tonight is "Do our planets actually have feelings?". It has been an interesting conversation and we have heard many points of views from believers and skeptics. I have with me a very special guest tonight. He is one of the highest officials from our beloved Temple of Nature on Unison Continent. High Priest Quan Lee.

  The crowd applauded and cheered as High Priest Lee waved at them and sat down. He was a short, old Asian man wearing a white and purple robe like the ones of the Shaolin Temple.

  As Lee went to his chair, he shook Bob’s hand. “Thank you so much for being here”, said Bob.

  Lee replied, “Thanks for having me Bob.”

  “Tonight, you have heard many points of views from our topic of discussion. With you being from the Temple of Nature, what kind of insight can you shed here?”

  Lee studied the crowd. It was full of multi-racial human and alien races. The perfect form of unity. Lee agreed with Bob, “It has been interesting indeed. Some people had some astounding points. With me being the High Priest of the Temple, I can assure you our planets do have feelings and it has been communicating them to us. We're just too blind to see it.

  Bob had to think about that for a second. “What kind of feelings do you think our planet have towards us?”

  “Honestly Bob, our planet is fed up with us.”

  Confused by the statement, Bob had to clarify. “Why do you say that?”

  Lee smiled as he knew he was about educate the whole audience on something they have never heard before. “Just think of it”, Lee replied. “Every time a natural disaster happens that is our planet displaying its emotions upon us. You ever notice that every time a war starts, or something tragic happens, a natural disaster takes place? Our planet was doing great before mankind settled on this beautiful planet 100,000 years ago. Same with Earth, this planet is no different and humans have been treating it like crap. Just like they do on Earth.”

  Bob could not believe what he was hearing. “So, you are saying Mother Nature would kill thousands of people just because she is mad at us. That is cruel don’t you think?”

  Lee nodded in agreement. “Yes, Mother Nature can be cruel, but not as cruel as human nature. Have you watched nature at its finest? The way the animals interact in their own habitat is amazing. You will notice the only time they kill is if they are hungry or if personal territory is invaded. Of course, humans are the same, but humans kill animals for sport which is causing a lot of species to become endangered. We kill each other over race, political disagreements, sex, religion, social status, gangs, sexual preference, etc. The list goes on and on. We pollute the air, land, and water. There are wars going on where thousands of innocent people are having their lives ruined and even losing their lives because two country leaders can’t settle disagreements between themselves. There is no change taken place, so yes, Mother Nature and the planet is fed up. You never know they could be plotting against us right now.”

  CHAPTER 1: GINIA.

  OUTSIDE THE PLANET GINIA.

  Ginia is basically a larger version of Earth but has a thick ring around it like Saturn. There is a massive space station that orbits the planet called The Outer World Observation Center (OWOC). This space station provides dozens of important functions for the planet and the galaxy. It is a checkpoint for intergalactic travel, a docking and rest area for spaceships traveling between planets, and most importantly it monitors a lot of the planet's activity such as weather, the ozone content, surveillance, and more. The space station looks like a giant metallic egg with three large metallic rings connected to it.

  Captain Leroy Jenkins, a suave looking African American male, was summoned to the observation headquarters.

  As he entered, he requested his two assistances. “Adam, Lloyd, what's the status of everything?”

  Adam looked at his chart. “Well, there is a couple of irregularities that we called you in for.”

  “What's going on?”, Jenkins asked.

  Lloyd showed Jenkins the chart as he explained. “We have seen temperature fluctuations in the atmosphere and on land.”

  They walked to a screen that showed a floating digital display of Ginia.

  Adam put on a PowerPoint, “One of the main issues is the ozone over Industry City has decreased by fifty percent since yesterday.”

  Jenkins became confused. “fifty percent in just twenty-four hours. How is that possible? I know all the pollution in the area has been slowly eating the ozone for a while, but how could it have decreased that much in such a short period of time?”

  “We are in the process of determining that”, Adam replied. “It’s a major concern because it’s the time of year where Ginia is closest to the sun and no ozone means no heat barrier. The people there could be cooked alive if the ozone in that area disappears.”

  Jenkins studied the screen. “I will issue the warning out to them.”

  Lloyd changed the screen of the presentation. “Besides the temperature fluctuations, it looks like we're reading heat spikes in the areas volcanoes are located. They have been reporting mini tremors all around the globe as well.”

  “All volcanoes, even Mt. Finine?”, asked Jenkins as he was concerned because it is the largest super volcano on the planet.

  “Yes sir”, Lloyd answered back.

  Adam added, “The last thing we have, we picked something up on the sound radar earlier. It could be nothing, but we just want you to hear it and get your take on it.”

  Jenkins nodded his head, “Let's hear it.”

  They walked into the Sonic Sound room. The Sonic Room is a huge room the monitors communications and unknown message sources. Leroy put on a huge pair of headphones. Adam played the sound, but "Pretty Young Thing" by Michael Jackson was playing. Leroy started bobbing his head to the song.

  Leroy looked up at Adam and Lloyd as they stared at him in confusion. “I am pretty sure Michael Jackson was not what you wanted me to hear?”, Jenkins asked.

  Adam quickly changed the sound. “No sir, sorry about that.”

  Adam pl
ayed the right sound. It sounds like electrical humming, rain, and a female crying.

  Jenkins listened very closely as he heard a small distant noise. “It sounds like someone is crying”.” Where did this come from?”

  Adam replied, “It was facing the planet when we picked it up.”

  Lloyd also added, “We were thinking that we probably had it amplified too much and picked up some women crying. But the coordinates that we picked up the sound is in the Sand Ocean of Monochello Continent.”

  Jenkins stared at the model. “Who knows, we may have just recorded our own planet crying. We will have to confirm that. I will send this to the Temple of Nature. They will know.”

  ON THE PLANET GINIA.

  UNISON CONTINENT

  Fifty miles east of Unison City, there is a huge military base, school, and sanctuary called Unison District. A tall, handsome, African American young man, named Markus Avery, was sleeping. He was suddenly woken up when his phone started ringing and someone was banging on his door.

  Markus got up and banged on his bed. “You got to be kidding me.”

  He answered his phone first and it was his friend Josh. Josh was the one calling him and ringing his doorbell. Markus answered the phone while getting up to answer the door. “What the hell do you want Josh?”

  “Yo, hurry up and answer your door.”

  Markus hung up his phone and then opened the door for Josh. Josh is a tall, skinny, Hispanic young man. When Markus opened the door, Josh walked inside. “We are being summoned my brother.’

  “By who?”

  Josh walked to his couch and sat down. “Instructor Natalie. She wants us to meet up with the team at the Temple of Nature.”

  “Great, a temple mission.”

  “Those are the best one’s man”, Josh replied as he pulled a breakfast burrito out his pocket and started eating it.

  “You must have forgotten what happened during the last mission.”

  “No, I didn’t forget. Unfortunate events led to you getting violated by cannibalistic gnomes. It was funny as hell.’

  Markus glared at Josh. “That's not even fair man.”

  Josh chuckled while almost choking on his burrito. “Life isn't fair, and you know I will never let you forget that.”

  “So, we meet up at the Temple. When does she want us there?”

  “1700 hours.”

  Markus looked at his clock. “Sounds good. I got time to take care of a few things before I go.”

  Markus's dorm room looked like a luxury one-bedroom apartment. He had a lot of Nature type pictures and paintings hanging on his wall. Josh picked up a picture of their squad.

  Josh stared at the picture and remembered all the missions they have been on together. “It's crazy how we started off with twenty people and now down to seven.”

  Markus stood next to Josh and glanced at the photo also. “That damn war with Octo District cost us a lot.”

  “Thank God, it's over now”, Josh expressed as he finished his burrito.

  “Yeah, it still could have been avoided in my opinion. We had to intervene with a civil war that had nothing to do with us.”

  “That may be true, but we still saved a lot of people.”

  “Yeah, we did. I am going to get ready. I'll see you at the Temple.”

  “Okay. I gotta gas up my Airship anyway.”

  Markus and Josh gave their secret handshake and then Josh left.

  ON RIED CONTINENT.

  Industry City is a large industrial city full of factories. This is the planet's most polluted city due to the smog, car exhaust, and factory smoke. There was a massive heat wave over the city. Caitlyn, an adorable, ten-year-old Caucasian girl, was walking home. She was drenched in sweat as the bag of ice she purchased was halfway melted. She walked into the house and her granddad was watching the news.

  The reporter was standing in the street of downtown. “Today has reached record breaking heat in Industry City. Residents have been warned to wear their Extreme Sun Block because the temperature has reached one hundred-fifty degrees. Ladies and Gentlemen this is a dangerous situation as many have already either died or been hospitalized due to heat stroke. The Governor has issued a mandatory evacuation since the heat is predicted to rise.”

  Grandad changed the channel to another news report.

  A Hispanic reporter was standing in a war-torn village. “A huge battle has erupted in the village of Gripton on Monochello Continent. Local rebels have engaged in a gunfight with the Octo District soldiers resulting in about sixty people losing their lives including women and children.”

  Grandad was disgusted at all the chaos around the planet. “Wow what is going on with our world?”

  “Grandad I'm home”, Caitlyn yelled as she walked inside.

  “Thank God. I got worried for a minute. They're evacuating the city. I got you a plane ticket to Unison Continent, so you can stay at the Temple of Nature. I want you to go get packed because it leaves in two hours.”

  “No problem. I will be ready in ten minutes.”

  Caitlyn ran upstairs in excitement and packed her clothes. She pulled out a necklace out from the drawer that had a pink diamond as its pendant. The pink diamond was glowing. Caitlyn studied the diamond. She said to herself, “I have never seen it do this before”.

  Grandad walked to the bottom of the stairs and screamed, “hurry up so you can get the hell out of here.

  “I’m coming grandad”, she screamed back.

  MONOCHELLO CONTINENT

  At the Octo District, Headmaster Johnson was sitting at his desk watching the news. General Brown walked in. Headmaster Johnson is a tall Caucasian man, with bright blue eyes. General Brown is also another tall, but heavy-set Caucasian male.

  General Brown walked into Headmaster Johnson’s office. “Headmaster Johnson, you wanted to see me?”

  “General Brown, how long have you been working for me?”

  “About four years now.”

  “Yes, and in these four years have I ever had an "Open Door" policy that allows you to just come in whenever you please?”

  General Brown became confused by the question. He responded, “Um, yes you have had an “Open Door” policy when you started as Headmaster.”

  Johnson glared at General Brown. “Yes, but that changed two years ago. So, let’s start this over shall we.” Johnson pointed out the door, signaling the General to walk back out the door.

  General Brown walked out of the office and closed the door. He was giving Headmaster Johnson the middle finger on the other side of the door before he started knocking.

  Johnson shouted, “That's better. Come in.”

  General Brown walked in. Johnson turned on the huge flat screen tv on his wall. The news was on television. “Did you see the news recently? These rebels are growing in numbers and are posing an actual threat to us. Unison District gave them too much hope.”

  The General looked at the television and changed topics to distract him from the news. “Well, on a good note, our Search Team found that Yellow Diamond you sent them to find”, Brown advised.

  Johnson turned to Brown with a smirk on his face. “Where did they find it?”

  “In the middle of the Sand Ocean. Many of them lost their lives to get that for you Headmaster. Something was guarding it.”

  “Their deaths won’t be in vain.”

  General Brown shook his head and urgently explained. “Sir, you do know these are Idacast Diamonds? They rightfully belong where they are, or at the Temple. Removing them from their place could be a devastating blow to the planet.”

  “Nothing has happened yet”, Johnson responded. “Now let’s go find the other ones. We will be rich beyond our wildest dreams and can buy this planet or any planet we want.”

  “With all due respect”, General Brown interjected. “There are other treasures out there that will make you rich.”

  “Are you doubting my plans General? It’s bad enough that I had to surrender to Unison District. Once we m
ake the” Peace Speech” tomorrow at the World Conference, we will collect all the diamonds and start the process.”

  ON AVALINE CONTINENT.

  Avaline Continent is the Arctic of Ginia. It is always covered in snow. They will get at least two months of good spring weather before it becomes come cold again. On Mt.Glacius, a couple, Amy and Mike, were hiking. There was a blizzard making the hike difficult. They made it to a hidden cave.

  “Hey Mike, look at this”, Amy said in amazement.

  Mike looked around. “It's beautiful in here.”

  The cave walls were made of clear ice crystals. The stalagmite and stalactites were also crystal clear. It looked as if they were in a cave made of glass. Mike and Amy continued to explore the cave. They made it to a huge room with a blue diamond the size of a basketball floating in the middle of the room.

  Mike realized it was an Idacast Diamond. “Oh my God. Is this one of the Idacast Diamonds the Temple was talking about?”

  “It looks like it”, Amy answered.

  As they were checking out the diamond, they did not see what was happening in the background. A giant, orange, lizard like eye was watching them.

  Mike took a picture with his phone. “We need to inform the Temple that we found one of the diamonds.”

  Amy took a picture also. “Don’t touch it babe. Remember there is always some Guardian that protects these diamonds.”

  They walked out of the cave and the giant eye that was watching them closed.

  CHAPTER 2: Hurricane Heather

  Over on Ried Continent, Caitlyn was on the plane headed to Unison Continent. She was watching the Bob Owen show. It was the segment with High Priest Lee. Caitlyn's necklace started glowing again. The flight attendants were handing out food. Suddenly, the plane shook violently. The flight captains turned on the seat belt signs.

  The Captain made the announcement on the intercom. “Ladies and Gentlemen, if I could please have you return to your seats to the upright position and fasten your seat belts. It’s going to be a bumpy ride.”
